Lemuria

Lemuria. A French-Mediterranean Cuisine. | Feta & Watermelon Salad. Kurobuta Pork Belly. Braised Lamb Shank, Apricots & Red Wine Sauce. Grand Marnier Souffle. | A secret hideaway with a wonderful meal. The Feta & Watermelon Salad with macopa raspberry vinaigrette was so amazing. The vinaigrette was tangy with the combination of feta which adds a bit salty & creamy texture. The mixed greens was fresh & crunchy when you bite into it plus the watermelon very refreshing. A great appetizer to start your meal. The Kurobuta Pork Belly- a slow braised Japanese pork then lightly browned served with solardaise potatoes, porcini mushrooms, roasted dried fruits and scented with red wine reduction. Delish! The pork was soft. The potatoes add a crunchy texture & the mushrooms gives an earthy flavor to this meal. The dried fruits plus the red wine reduction makes the meal a bit sweet & tasty. The Braised Lamb Shank- a slow cooked lamb shank tagine style, served with creamy polenta, apricot compote & roasted shallots. The lamb meat really melts in your mouth. The polenta was so creamy, tastes so good & really goes well with the lamb. The apricot compote was slightly tart, luscious & really compliments the flavor of the lamb. The roasted shallots add sweetness to this dish & that was lovely. For dessert.. The Grand Marnier Souffle is Lemuria’s very own chocolate souffle served with grand marnier scented creme anglaise. The dessert was to die for. Its bitter-sweet, crusty on top and moist in the middle. The grand marnier creme anglaise really suits the lightness & fluffiness of the souffle perfectly.
