Kozui

Kozui. Green tea & Japanese food. | Karaage Chicken Vegetable Wrap. Special Takoyaki. Karaagedon. Green Tea Anmitsu. Our drinks: Genmaicha Green Tea & Oolong Green Tea. | I like the karaage chicken vegetable wrap. It has mixed green lettuce with deep fried crispy breaded boneless chicken, diced tomatoes, onions, cucumbers with japanese black sesame dressing wrapped in grilled whole wheat tortilla wrap. Its light, healthy, flavorful because of the dressing & the chicken really adds that crsipy texture on the wrap. The takoyaki is a fresh pan grilled takoyaki balls flavored with generous chunks of tako (octopus), negi, red ginger, cabbage served with japanese mayonaise, bonito flakes, aonari & special house sweet & tangy takoyaki sauce. The octopus add a bit of a chewy texture. Its crunchy in the outside, soft & creamy in the inside. The karaagedon is a deep fried Japanese savory boneless chicken topped on steamed rice, garnished with bonito flakes, nori & negi. The chicken was juicy, crispy when its hot & perfectly paired with rice. For dessert, the Green Tea Anmitsu. It has shaved ice topped with green tea jelly, chewy dango balls, choice of fruit, sweet azuki beans, taro jam and your choice of ice cream (green tea, frozen yogurt or combination of both). It is a traditional Japanese dessert. Its like our halo- halo (popular Filipino dessert) but when you taste it there is unusual textures & flavors. Yumyum! Our drinks are good too. Its healthy, light & very refreshing. The Oolong Green tea often called as a “weight loss tea”.It tastes sweet & woody. The Genmaicha Green tea is known as the “people’s tea”. The flavor is mild, tastes like sago or roasted rice with the freshness of green tea. This tea sometimes referred as a “popcorn tea” because the grains pop during roasting. | They had limited parking space. You have to order & pay over the counter. The food was good & not expensive.
