Recess by Chef Chris

Recess by Chef Chris. Restaurant/Cafe. | Whole Wheat Oat Bread with Herb Anchovy Butter. Salad J50. Platinum Pt 78. Special Turon. | Its break time! The Whole Wheat Oat Bread has a crunchy crust & a light-soft interior. The Butter add a creamy texture & makes it more flavorful. The Salad J50 has Romaine hearts tossed in creamy gamonzola dressing, topped with crispy crapers, sliced of fresh pears, perfected with crispy bacon and seven minute boiled egg. The romaine was fresh & crisp. The dressing was creamy & light at the same time. The crispy capers add a salty flavor. The pears makes it sweet. The bacon add a meaty texture. The sweet & salty combination…absolutely wonderful. The seven minute boiled egg add a creamy velvety texture to the salad. The Platinum Pt 78 has tomato infused cheese sauce topped with Angus burger, bacon, pineapple & mushrooms served with Arugula and Alfalfa sprouts. This one was actually good. The Platinum is a Panizza…a hand rolled pizza. The best part of it was putting the arugula & alfalfa sprouts to the thin crust pizza strips, roll it then eat it. The Angus burger makes it more savory. The bacon add a salty flavor. The pineapple makes it sweet & the mushrooms add an earthy flavor to the panizza. The arugula add a peppery taste & the alfalfa sprouts add a crunchy texture. It also add an earthy flavor as well. The Special Turon has banana with vanilla ice cream on top & served with caramel sauce. Its crispy on the outside, soft & tasty on the inside. The banana was soft, starchy & sweet. The vanilla ice cream balances out the flavor of the turon. The caramel sauce add a sweet-creamy taste. | The interior was nice. Its feels like you’re at school again. The ceiling of the resto is the Periodic Table of Elements which is actually amazing. A good comfort food with a twist.
