Hatch 22. Cafe & Bakery. | French Onion Soup. NYOB ~ Not Your Ordinary Benedicts. Newer England Clam Chowder. English Trifle. | Serves fresh food all day! The French Onion Soup was light & sweet. The bread & cheese makes it more umami. The NYOB has fresh baked rustic muffins, portobello mushrooms, sous vide eggs, Italian ham with chili orange hollandaise sauce. Its rich & flavorful. The portobello mushrooms has an earthy flavor & meaty texture. The eggs were rich & velvety. The Italian ham add a salty & sweet flavor. The hollandaise sauce was very interesting but it really goes well with eggs & muffins. Its sweet, tangy, but not that spicy. The Newer England Clam Chowder was creamy, thick & rich. The clams were so good its meaty & sweet. For dessert… The English Trifle is a classic trifle with sponge cake, nuts, fruits & custard cream. It has the right amount of sweetness, tart & creamy. The sponge cake was buttery & the banana was soft, sweet & starchy. The combination with the candied walnuts…oh wow! Its crunchy, sweet & salty.
