Green Pastures

Green Pastures. “Original. Local. Organic.” | House made cheese (served with toast). 80/20 Burger (ey-tee-twen-tee). Tequila Joe’s Organic Beef Sloppy Cow. Salted Caramel Ice Cream with Popcorn Crunch. | An Organic Resto in the Metro. The house made cheese was Ricotta. Its a cow’s milk made fresh daily. It comes with onion jam & roasted garlic. The right way to eat the toast was spread the roasted garlic to the bread add the ricotta cheese & onion jam. Viola! Yumyum! I like the ricotta cheese its so light & creamy. Then add some roasted garlic which is soft & mild in taste. The onion jam makes the toast sweet & savory. The 80/20 burger is 80% wagyu beef, 20% double soaked organic panchetta with house made stracciatella & buttered brioche. This burger was so tasty. It is perfectly cooked & the panchetta add a bit saltiness to the burger. The stracciatella cheese (buffalo milk) tastes like mozzarella. The creaminess of the cheese pairs beautifully with the patty & tomatoes. The brioche has a dense texture, rich, buttery, & perfect with this burger. The Tequila Joe’s Beef Sloppy Cow is a Salpicao. Yes it is! It has a homemade oyster jus & mushroom glace. The meat was so tender, juicy & tasty. It has lots of garlic, the osyter jus adds more flavor & the mushroom glace makes the dish a bit sweet. For dessert, the Salted Caramel Ice cream with Popcorn crunch, house made chocolate sauce & whipped cream. I love this dessert. The sweet & salty combination…oh wow! Then add some popcorn which adds a crunch into it. The chocolate sauce was thick, rich & luscious. The whipped cream role was to balanced the flavors of the dessert. | They have Numi Organic Tea & Organic Coffee. They aslo serve salad. The best part of it is that you can create your own. Step 1: choose your greens or grains. Step 2: choose your veggies. Step 3: choose your crunchies. Step 4: choose your protein & cheese & Step 5: choose your dressing. Thats it! Easy as ABC! Enjoy!
