The Authentic Flavours of Lung Hin

I will never get tired of Marco Polo Manila especially with their good food. This time trying out Lung Hin for the first time. A contemporary Chinese Restaurant serving traditional and authentic Cantonese cuisine in a new, fresh and modern style.

Marco Polo Ortigas  Manila’s Cantonese restaurant, Lung Hin, is bringing in more of its authentic flavours with the coming of the new Chinese Executive Chef, Leung Chi Kwan. Bringing in 20 years of extensive expertise in Chinese culinary, Chef Leung Chi Kwan or Chef Ken gained experienced and developed his skills from international five-star hotels and well-known Chinese Restaurants, from different parts of the globe. He has served his authentic creations in the Imperial Treasure in Sinagapore, in a cafe restaurant in Ireland and in Gold Pavilion Fort in Hong Kong, to name a few. Chef Ken is not new to the country, as he was also previously assigned and has collaborated with other well-known hotels.

With the coming of the new Chinese Execeutive Chef Leung “Ken” Chi Kwan, Lung Hin will be serving more superb culinary masterpieces that will bring a unique flavour experience for every dine. Here are some of his special dishes…


 Deep Fried Crispy Tofu with Seaweed Salad. This is truly satisfying for me because I love Tofu.


Deep Fried Beancurd Leek Rolls with XO Chili Sauce. Beancurd is also known as Tofu but the difference it is fermented. The flavour is salty and kinda sweet. Then add some XO chili sauce to make it more delectable.


Stir Fried Crystal Prawns. The shrimp has a firm and nice texture. It is better to add chili sauce to make it more flavourful because I love spicy food. It is topped with goji berries which are loaded with beta-carotene and helps promote healthy skin.


Poached Live Garoupa with Mushroom. Healthy yet satisfying! Its juicy, delicate and the mushroom add a meaty texture.


Deep Fried Spareribs with Black Vinegar Sauce. It is savoury and the black vinegar adds a tangy flavour. Yum!


Ham & Vegetables with Superior Sauce. Simple, delicious and the Ham makes the dish more exciting.


Fookien Misua. A classic comfort food indeed! This is definitely a must have when you eat here at Lung Hin. So so good!

For dessert we had the Chilled Mixed Jelly with Grass Jelly. It is refreshing and really cleans your palate.


Marco Polo Ortigas Manila Cantonese Restaurant, Lung Hin, was awarded one of the most outstanding Chinese Restaurant outside of China, at the 16th China Hotel Industry Golden Horse Awards Gala.

It is not your typical Chinese Restaurant. It boasts a contemporary Chinese flavour offering traditional and authentic Cantonese food and fresh seafood. Overall they serve healthy and delicious food.
