Via Antonella
Via Antonella. Filipino Restaurant. | Cheesy Sisig Lumpia. Longganisa Batutay. Hole in the Bone. Waffle ala Mode. | A Filipino Resto with a twist. The Cheesy Sisig Lumpia is a crispy fried lumpia stuffed with mozzarella cheese, green chilli & sisig. Its crunchy & cheesy. The sisig was tangy & add some sauce…it makes the lumpia more flavorful. The Longganisa Batutay is a grilled home-made beef longganisa with garlic rice & egg. The longganisa was tender & sweet. The egg add a creamy-velvety texture. The Hole in the bone is their take of classic Italian dish Osso Buco. Its a beef shank slowly braised in beef stock, roasted tomato & mixed aromatics, served smothered with its own braising liquid, with mashed kamote, buttered vegetables & side salad. The beef was tender & really melts in your mouth. The sauce was savory. The mashed kamote was sweet, tasty & perfect with this dish. The vegetables were fresh & crunchy. The side salad add a sourish flavor to the dish. For dessert, the Waffle ala Mode… A freshly baked waffle topped with peach-mango flambe, vanilla ice cream & drizzle with chocolate and caramel sauce. The waffle was light & crisp. The peach & mango add a fruity flavor. Its sweet & sour at the same time. It has alcohol which add a kick into it. The vanilla ice cream balances the flavors of the waffle & fruit. The chocolate sauce makes it sweet. The caramel sauce add a buttery creamy flavor. | The place has a contemporary relaxed feel. The service & food was good. I will definitely come back here to try their Coffee. | Located at Maginhawa Street corner Makadios Street, Sikatuna Village, Quezon City.
