Silk Road

Silk Road. Thai Bistro. | Mieng Kham. Thai Ravioli. Saphan Kwai. Crispy Tilapia. Silk Nest. | Classic & Contemporary Thai dishes…hmm..why not?! The Mieng Kham is a traditional Thai appetizer. If you want to be adventurous you should try this. It has betel leaves, shrimp, ginger, palm sugar, toasted coconut, peanut & slice chili on top. It was healthy, delicious & addictive. The flavors really explodes in your mouth. The betel leaves has a slight bitter taste. Then after a while it becomes sweet, nutty, smoky & that chili really gives that hot and spicy sensation. The Thai Ravioli is a freshly made Thai rice paper with sesame beef & shitake mushroom. A great way to start your meal. This one is actually good. It has sweet, sour & salty taste combination. The rice paper was soft & smooth. The beef was flavorful & the mushroom really add an earthy flavor. Then put some lime-fish sauce to make it tangy & more tasty. The Saphan Kwai a stir fried morning glory with Thai yellow soy bean & chili. Its a simple dish but delightful & spicy. The Crispy Tilapia with Tamarind Puree is our favorite. The fish was crispy in the outside but soft & tasty in the inside. The tamarind puree really gives that sour flavor with a spicy taste. Scumptious! For dessert, the Silk Nest.. A crispy slivers of taro & sweet potato with coconut ice cream. Truly a delectable dessert. The coconut ice cream was smooth & creamy. Then drizzle some of that caramelized coconut cream on top..oh wow! The edible nest that is made of taro & sweet potato add a crunchy texture. | The ambiance was nice, modern & classy. They serve Thai drinks & traditional Thai food but offer new dishes as well. If you’re craving for Thai food with contemporary & elegant feel…this is the place. | Located at Net Quad Corporate Center 4th Avenue corner 31st street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig ( across Kuppa).
