The Black Pepper is coated with high-grade black pepper all around. The Garlic has freshly minced garlic & this is for all garlic lovers. The Kimukatsu set includes 1 rice set (unlimited), miso soup (red or white), cabbage salad (unlimited) and Japanese pickles. Both Katsu were good. Its light, delicate, a bit juicy, tender, all but fluffy, & delicious. The Black Pepper Katsu had a hefty coat of pepper & that intense heat, it makes you want more. The Garlic Katsu, once you bite into it..the garlicky flavor really burst into your mouth. Then dip it to their tonkatsu sauce or ponzu sauce with crushed black sesame seeds to make it more flavorful. Lastly, the Japanese Panna Cotta for dessert. It has Fresh Milk and Nama Cream topped with Soy Bean Powder & Black Sesame Seeds. Its light, soft & has the right amount of sweetness. The soy bean powder add a crunch & velvety texture to the dessert. The black sesame seeds add a roasty nutty flavor. | The ambiance was nice, the lanterns on the ceiling are beautiful and the Cherry Tree on the wall is splendid. Kimukatsu is the only restaurant in the world that offers 25 layers of mille-feuille katsu in seven flavors. They select only the highest quality of pork, which is sliced thin and stack into 25 layers. It is covered with fresh breadcrumbs & fried slowly in low heat for 8 mins.
