It is topped with pork or chicken chashu, dried seaweed, molten lava egg (ajitsuke tamago), and a dash of flavorful fried garlic oil (ma-yu). It is made with chicken broth. The broth was thick, creamy, rich & flavorful. The noodles were hard & thin just the way we liked it. We chose the chicken chashu which was tender & tasty. The tamago add a sweet taste & creamy velvety texture to the ramen. The Hokkaido Spicy Miso Ramen is made with spicy miso based & topped with chopped pork chashu, mixed vegetables, bamboo shoots, spring onions and spicy oil. The broth was thick, spicy & savory. The pork chashu was tender & delectable. The bamboo shoots add a tender-crisp texture to the ramen. For dessert, the Almond Jelly… Its light, smooth & has the right amount of sweetness.
