The Quiche Lorraine has bacon, cream & cheese served with salad in vinaigrette dressing. Its rich & savory. The pastry crust was crunchy & chewy. The salad in vinaigrette dressing really goes well with the quiche. The Chef Cicou Salad has lettuce, ham, gruyere, chicken, egg & tomatoes. Its fresh & tasty. The ham & chicken add a meaty texture. The egg makes it creamy & silky. The tomatoes add a sweet-tart flavor. The gruyere cheese has a sweet & nutty flavor with a fruity after taste. They served it with their own vinaigrette which is sweet-sourish in flavor. The Pan-seared Salmon has espelette, wilted spinach & mushrooms, mashed potatoes and beurre blanc. The Salmon was perfectly pan-seared. The beurre blanc is French for “white butter”. Its thick, smooth, rich & buttery. The espelette add a peppery taste. The spinach add a nutty flavor. The mushrooms add an earthy flavor & meaty texture. The mashed potatoes was creamy & a perfect match with the salmon. The Bouillabaise has fish, prawns, squid, clams & baby potatoes served with croutons, aoli & rouille sauce. The broth was smooth & flavorful. The seafood was perfectly cooked. The croutons with aoli & rouille sauce makes it tasty and a perfect combination with the Bouillabaise. The croutons add a crunchy texture then dip it…add a garlicky taste & a bit spicy. For dessert, Macarons: Earl Grey, Ube (Purple Yam) & Coconut. Its smooth & melts in your mouth. I love the coconut…yum! Lastly, the L’Original Kouign Amann de Cicou a caramelized laminated sweet dough topped with salted caramel ice cream. It taste like croissant & looks like a cinnamon roll. Its too sweet but still yummy & good for sharing. The salted ice cream balances the flavor of the dough & add a sweet-salty taste. | The place was very comfortable. It has a classy ambiance. A family-friendly French resto & ofcourse yummy food!
