Remembering the good old days, when my Mom prepares our breakfast even for “baon” at school. The smell of garlic, potatoes and corned beef are so good with rice. There are so many ways how you can enjoy corned beef (sorry, I’m just so amazed with my favourite comfort food). For Moms out there, try making corned beef soup or even a sandwich. And I’m sure your kids will love it like I did.

As we all know Purefoods products are serving quality food and easy meals which all Moms prefers. That’s why Purefoods is always present in every home (like ours). Purefoods products have been around for decades. They have a bit of magic when it comes to grabbing attention especially to consumers and that magic just happens by itself. From affordable, good quality and delicious products, they have figured out how to work their way into consumer’s hearts, minds and wallets. For me I care about the brand because I feel connected to it. By buying the product you’re doing something positive by making something bigger.

There are fascinating stories behind our favourite comfort food. So during the event I’m kind of intimidated because it’s my first time to paint. I have no idea or clue on how to paint. So, I just said to myself “I can do it, just blend, blend and blend”. And I have to wake the artist inside of me. But I’m still thinking why Sip and Gogh with Purefoods. Then it came to mind Food and Art comes together. You can express yourself through painting whatever you are feeling and you can also do that by eating your comfort food.

Of course some yummy eats during the event was served while we paint.

A trip down memory lane, during the event it really brings back childhood memories. Like after school, doing my homework and you can’t wait to finish it because you want to eat dinner that my Mom prepared and cooked for us.

My painting experience at Sip and Gogh was therapeutic. It encourages honest self-expression, expresses difficult emotions and discovery of the subconscious and unconscious mind. It’s like an Art Therapy by expressing yourself through Art.

As for my painting, it made me feel like an artist. And when I look at it, it’s not bad at all. I’m no expert so I think anyone can paint. The main focus of my paint is not really the drawing but the colours on how I blend it nicely. My paint shows happy memories every time I see it. It’s like a triumph when you accomplished something that you feel proud.

Thank you Purefoods for an amazing day, it really increases my self-esteem and bringing up positive memories with comfort food of course.
